Understand
Problem, user, environment, constraints and success criteria.
Research, product engineering, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, electronics and proof-of-concept development — from the first technical question to a physical prototype you can test.
WHAT AUGTANE DOES
Augtane Industries works across the early and middle stages of technology development — understanding the problem, researching possible approaches, designing hardware, building prototypes, testing them, and preparing the next iteration.
We support internal R&D as well as external founders, teams and institutions that need help moving an idea from concept to a demonstrable physical system.
How Augtane works ↗Choose one service or combine multiple disciplines into a complete proof-of-concept build.
Research mapping, sensing concepts, experiments, feasibility studies, data interpretation and validation planning.
Enclosures, mechanisms, electronics integration, iterative builds and proof-of-concept systems.
Prototype components, enclosures, fixtures and low-volume development parts with design-for-print guidance.
Mechanical CAD, enclosure design, component layout, assemblies and design refinement.
Sensor integration, circuit prototyping, embedded control, PCB-oriented development and IoT concepts.
Technical architecture, integrated prototype builds, demos and iteration plans for founders and teams.
THE AUGTANE BUILD LOOP
Problem, user, environment, constraints and success criteria.
Technology options, scientific basis, components and feasibility.
CAD, electronics architecture, interface and prototype plan.
Fabrication, 3D printing, integration and working assembly.
Observe failure modes, collect data and improve the next version.
Augtane’s current flagship product explores non-destructive optical screening of fruits and vegetables using near-infrared and visible-light sensing.
The submitted project material documents a non-destructive concept using NIR and visible red spectroscopy, a display, round dial and developed sensing arrangement. The current system is presented as an R&D prototype, not as a replacement for accredited laboratory residue testing.

The food-safety project demonstrates the way Augtane approaches technical development: study the science, create a sensing concept, design a physical enclosure, integrate electronics, test samples, document limitations and keep iterating.
Proof-of-concept hardware, MVP engineering, CAD, electronics and rapid iteration.
Custom enclosures, sensing setups, data workflows and research-oriented prototyping.
Technical feasibility, custom prototypes, fixtures and early-stage product engineering.
Design support, prototype development and practical engineering guidance.
