The risk is often invisible to the eye.

The original research project began with a simple concern: fruits and vegetables can look fresh while chemical residues, artificial ripening practices or internal quality issues remain difficult for ordinary people to assess.

Future product claims should be tied to controlled datasets, reference methods, repeatability studies and the regulatory pathway appropriate to the intended use.
